Ice Age

Ice Age makes packaged ice for Georgia's supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and bars, on a production line near Natakhtari that runs around the clock. We built the company a bilingual site with a full product catalogue and a showcase for its custom ice work.

The brief

Ice Age needed a site that did two jobs. Supermarket buyers and hospitality managers needed the facts: what the company makes, in which sizes, and how to order it. Brands and event planners needed to see the custom work, the logos frozen into clear blocks and the ice displays built for events.

It also had a story worth telling. The water comes from the Caucasus, the line never stops, and in 2023 the company joined the European Packaged Ice Association.

01 · Catalogue

A catalogue buyers can order from

We gave each of the eight products the same card: a clean photograph of the pack, who it is for, what it is used for, and a short table with the weight, the type of ice, the storage temperature and the shelf life.

A tag on each card tells you at a glance whether it sells in supermarkets, to hotels and restaurants, or both. A procurement manager can compare the 2 kg and 5 kg packs line by line, then request a price.

02 · HORECA

A page for hotels, restaurants and bars

Hotels, restaurants, cafés and bars buy ice on different terms from a supermarket. They want delivery on a schedule, a steady volume and someone to call. We gave them their own section with what Ice Age offers them: direct delivery with no middleman, freezers placed with partners, and the premium line for bars.

03 · Custom ice

Ice as the centrepiece

The custom work sells itself when you see it: Red Bull cans frozen inside a clear block, a branded ice display for Schweppes, flowers set into ice for weddings. We built a page that leads with those pieces and explains how the team casts, finishes and delivers them.

Georgian first

Most of Ice Age's customers are in Georgia, so the site opens in Georgian, with English one tap away for international brands and partners. Both versions carry the full catalogue.

The pages stay light. The English home page loads in seven requests and under 200 KB on a phone, and the photographs further down arrive as you scroll to them.
